Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for public events and sponsorships, including venue selection, guest management, and post-event follow-up.
- Ideate and execute creative, engaging strategies to showcase Rainmaker’s brand in various settings.
- Source and secure press opportunities that align with Rainmaker’s mission.
- Organize grassroots efforts and community touchpoints to build brand loyalty and awareness.
- Shoot and potentially star in event content to capture the energy and demo Rainmaker’s capabilities.
Requirements
- Magnetically personable and obsessively organized.
- Able to translate complex ideas into accessible language.
- Experience organizing events or PR activities, or a strong track record of independently managing large-scale projects.
- Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and managing relationships effectively.
- Aesthetic sensibility and an intuitive understanding of what works and what doesn’t in public-facing branding.
- Basic content production experience is a plus, though not required.
Qualifications
- Curiosity about frontier technology, science, and building a generational company.
- Based in Los Angeles, with 25% domestic travel expected.
- High autonomy within Rainmaker’s Brand and Communications team, influencing the public-facing profile of the brand.
