About the role
The Community Manager will lead the disability services team in providing support and advocacy for individuals with disabilities within the Shannon area.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of disability services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
- Manage a team of disability service providers, ensuring they are competent and motivated.
- Conduct regular reviews of service provision to identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the organization at external meetings and events related to disability services.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field such as social work, disability studies, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in managing disability services teams.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
- Registered Social Worker (RSW).
- Disability Management Certificate (DMD).
Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of disability legislation and best practices.

Pay
Salary range: €33,730 - €40,000 per annum.
