About the role

The Community Manager will lead the disability services team in providing support and advocacy for individuals with disabilities within the Shannon area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of disability services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
• Manage a team of disability service providers, ensuring they are competent and motivated.
• Conduct regular reviews of service provision to identify areas for improvement.
• Represent the organization at external meetings and events related to disability services.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant field such as social work, disability studies, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in managing disability services teams.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW).
• Disability Management Certificate (DMD).

Pay

Salary range: €33,730 - €40,000 per annum.
