Community Manager - Avana South Oaks

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing over $300 billion of real estate in 265+ markets globally. This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee, managing a Garden-style property with 323 units.

Responsibilities

• Develops and analyzes budgets, sets rent rates, collects and posts rent, and prepares financial status reports.
• Approves invoices, manages petty cash, and oversees lease enforcement processes.
• Gathers and analyzes market trends, implements leasing strategies, and ensures resident satisfaction.
• Manages property staff, inspects facilities, and responds to resident complaints and service issues.
• Coordinates with clients/owners, conducts property tours, and provides updates on property performance.
• Completes various reports and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience managing apartment communities.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Licenses and certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Management and supervisory skills to hire, lead, and evaluate team members.

Specialized Skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operations.
• Physical ability to access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Travel / Physical Demands

• Frequent exposure to outside elements such as temperature, weather, odors, and hazardous landscapes.
• Requires physical access to all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.
• May require routine, local travel for bank deposits, training classes, and outreach events.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program, paid time off, and robust benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) with company match.
