About the role

Bellbrook is looking for a Community Life Aide to join our activities department. The candidate will have customer service that exceeds industry standards and provides a behavioral model for all associates within the Community. You will assist in planning, organizing, developing, and coordinating the on-going activities program. Proactively identify, develop, and execute solutions to enhance the resident living experience—the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months previous experience working in a socialized therapeutic activity environment preferred.
  • Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred.
  • Must possess superior customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
  • Possesses interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work in a cross-functional team as well as the ability to work with residents based on their cognitive ability.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with a high productivity level.
  • Possesses a high degree of personal accountability, responsibility, and independent decision-making abilities.
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the organization.

Preferred Skills

  • Chauffer’s License a plus.
  • Experience with seniors a plus.
