What You'll Do
- Work with your Community Manager to understand your market and develop effective messaging
- Plan and execute events such as parties, meet-ups, and happy hours
- Create and organize social media content aligned with regional goals and engagement strategies
- Maintain Yelp’s local business listings via the app and website, including flagging photos, identifying media alerts, and correcting information
- Engage with Yelp users through the app and website, fostering a vibrant online community
What It Takes to Succeed
- Current college student, recent graduate, or someone looking to transition into a community building role
- Resides in Columbus, OH, with reliable transportation
- Aged 21 or older
- Local expert with knowledge of trends and passion for small businesses
- Experience and interest in event planning and coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with social media copywriting and asset coordination
- Flexible schedule to work 10-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday with potential weekend work
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds without assistance

The compensation range for this position is $13.00 - $16.00 per hour.
