What You'll Do

• Work with your Community Manager to understand your market and develop effective messaging
• Plan and execute events such as parties, meet-ups, and happy hours
• Create and organize social media content aligned with regional goals and engagement strategies
• Maintain Yelp’s local business listings via the app and website, including flagging photos, identifying media alerts, and correcting information
• Engage with Yelp users through the app and website, fostering a vibrant online community

What It Takes to Succeed

• Current college student, recent graduate, or someone looking to transition into a community building role
• Resides in Columbus, OH, with reliable transportation
• Aged 21 or older
• Local expert with knowledge of trends and passion for small businesses
• Experience and interest in event planning and coordination
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Experience with social media copywriting and asset coordination
• Flexible schedule to work 10-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday with potential weekend work
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds without assistance

The compensation range for this position is $13.00 - $16.00 per hour.
