About the role
The Town of Wayland seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Health/School Nurse to provide essential community health care to students and staff at the Wayland Middle School and Wayland Public Schools. Responsibilities
- Providing a wide range of health services to students including routine and emergency care.
- Medication administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Over two (2) years of experience in school, pediatric, community health or comparable nursing experience.
- Ideal candidates will have experience working with middle school aged children, school nursing, pediatric or comparable nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Registered professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current certifications in Adult and Pediatric BLS CPR/First Aid/AED or certifications obtained prior to start.
- Valid driver’s license.
- MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Nurse Licensure preferred, but not required.
Pay
Salary Range: $37.40 to $48.71 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
Schedule
Full Time/hours: 35 hours per week.
