Community Health Nurse (Repost)
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit heading followed by filler/placeholder text. Prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to extract content: About the position (description), About the agency (mission/vision), Examples of work (list of duties), Qualifications (minimum and preferred), Additional Information (salary range transparency, interview dates, job location, conditions of employment). Also maybe "Benefits" not present; "Pay" maybe salary range; "Schedule" not present; "Skills" maybe not explicit; we can combine qualifications and skills.
We must not create sections for Pay/Schedule/Benefits unless posting actually states them. Salary range is stated: "Salary Range Transparency: The salary range listed in this announcement reflects the offer range for this position." So we can include Pay section with that sentence. No explicit schedule; we can omit Schedule. Benefits not mentioned; we can omit Benefits.
We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We need to remove boilerplate: EEO, eligibility to work, internal applicants, union, etc. Also remove "ONLY ONLINE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED", "Eligibility to Work: Under the Immigration Reform..." etc. Also remove "Conditions of Employment:" maybe we keep as part of Additional Information? It's substantive: conditions of employment includes training standards, protective apparel, preemployment checks, essential employee expectations. That is substantive; we can keep.
We also need to remove duplicated lines.
We need to format: Use
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to decide sections: Perhaps "About the role" (combining About The Position and About The Agency?), "Responsibilities" (Examples of Work), "Qualifications" (Minimum and Preferred), "Pay" (Salary range transparency), "Additional Information" maybe as a generic section? But we have headings limited to those listed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. "Requirements" could be used for qualifications? But we already have Qualifications. Could use Requirements for conditions of employment? Might be better to map: About the role -> About The Position + About The Agency (description). Responsibilities -> Examples of Work (list). Qualifications -> Minimum and Preferred Qualifications (list). Pay -> Salary range transparency. Additional info like interview dates, location, conditions of employment could go under "About the role" or maybe "Responsibilities"? But better to create a section "About the role" that includes location, interview dates, conditions? However "About the role" is supposed to be about the role; location and interview dates are not about role but about posting. Could we create a section "Requirements" for conditions of employment? Not ideal.
We could keep a generic section "Additional Information" but not in allowed headings. The instruction says: use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It implies we can use those headings, but not limited to only those? It says "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we should use those headings when appropriate. We can also possibly use other headings? The examples are given; likely they expect us to use those headings only. So we need to map content to those headings.
Thus we need to decide which headings to include based on presence of substantive content.
- About the role: we have description of position and agency. Good.
- Responsibilities: we have examples of work (list of duties). Good.
- Requirements: could be conditions of employment? Or maybe "Requirements" could be used for qualifications? But we already have Qualifications heading. Could use Requirements for "Minimum Qualifications" and Qualifications for "Preferred Qualifications"? But that seems odd. Better: Use Requirements for mandatory qualifications (minimum) and Qualifications for preferred? However the instruction says "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can have both Requirements and Qualifications sections. We'll allocate:
- Requirements: Minimum Qualifications (must-haves)
- Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-haves)
- Skills: maybe we could list specific skills from examples of work (e.g., patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, record keeping, etc.) but we already have responsibilities list. Could create Skills section summarizing skills, but risk of thin content. Better to omit Skills if not substantive.
- Benefits: not present, omit.
- Pay: Salary range transparency.
- Schedule: not present, omit.
Thus we will output sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Pay.
We need to ensure we don't include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
Now we need to extract content and format.
About the role: combine About The Position and About The Agency paragraphs. We'll produce prose
elements.
Responsibilities: list of duties from "Examples of Work". Each bullet is a duty. We'll put each as
- inside
.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications list. We'll put each as - .
Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications list. We'll put each as
- .
Pay: Salary range transparency paragraph.
We also might include interview dates, location, conditions of employment. Where to put? Could be part of About the role? Or maybe we can add a section "About the role" includes location and interview dates? But that seems not about role. Could we add a section "Requirements" also includes conditions of employment? Might be okay: Requirements could include both minimum qualifications and conditions of employment. But we already used Requirements for minimum qualifications. Could we instead put conditions of employment under Requirements as additional list items? Might be okay but could blur.
Alternatively, we could create a section "About the role" that includes location, interview dates, conditions of employment as prose. That might be acceptable: "About the role" can include details about the job location, schedule, etc. The instruction didn't restrict content. So we can add those details as prose within About the role.
Thus About the role will contain:
- Description of position (About The Position)
- Description of agency (About The Agency)
- Job location
- Tentative interview dates
- Conditions of employment (maybe as a list? but we can put as prose)
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include location, interview dates, conditions of employment.
We'll format as
paragraphs.
Now we need to remove boilerplate: EEO, eligibility to work, internal applicants, union, etc. Also remove "ONLY ONLINE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED". Also remove "Conditions of Employment: Upon selection, the candidate must (where applicable):" maybe we keep the content after colon but remove the heading? We'll keep the bullet points.
Conditions of employment list includes:
- Meet all training and performance standards and demonstrate proficiency as required by the agency.
- Wear and use agency protective apparel and equipment in the performance of their assigned duties.
- Successfully pass preemployment checks which may include reference checks, background investigations, and drug screenings.
- Be willing and able to serve as an essential employee.
- Essential employees are expected to report during standard or non-standard hours as operations necessitate, or during emergencies.
- Essential employees are expected to report or remain at work when other County employees are granted Administrative Leave.
We'll keep these as list items maybe under a subheading? But we don't have a heading for that. Could embed as
inside About the role? Might be okay.
But we already have Responsibilities list; we could add another list for conditions. However we need to avoid too many thin sections. Could combine conditions as prose sentences.
Better: Keep conditions as a under About the role after location and interview dates.
Now we need to ensure we don't repeat any content.
Let's extract exact text.
