Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing and Partnership Strategy
- Create comprehensive outreach and marketing strategies tailored to specific demographics, cultures, and ethnicities of the target county.
- Foster mutual referrals and position BrightLife Kids as a valuable resource within the community.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior external partners, including county health officials, school district leadership, and community-based organizations.
- Operate with significant autonomy, managing a regional portfolio and presenting comprehensive updates and strategic recommendations at key milestones.
- Community Outreach and Engagement/Health Education/Health Promotion
- Develop and adapt outreach and marketing strategies that span diverse and complex ecosystems, ensuring programs resonate across multiple stakeholder types.
- Proactively identify service gaps and market opportunities; contribute to the design of new assets and engagement tactics.
- Leverage existing networks and research methods to identify contacts within the target county, utilizing platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, and school district websites.
- Navigate and persuade varied audiences—from grassroots community groups to executive-level public health boards and School and Office of Education Boards—to align on shared goals for child mental well-being.
- Field Marketing and Event Participation
- Lead and participate in high-visibility activation in-person events, online webinars, and school fairs, acting as a respected advocate for the BrightLife Kids mission.
- Provide informative materials and engaging discussions to educate parents about the importance of child mental well-being and the services offered by BrightLife Kids.
- Distribute branded swag and conduct webinars or in-person sessions to increase awareness and engagement.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track key metrics related to outreach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Regularly report progress, insights, and recommendations to manager, marketing team, and upper management to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
- Leverage Salesforce as the primary CRM tool.
- Collaborative Improvement
- Continuously gather insights from engagement efforts and incorporate feedback to quickly enhance outreach and marketing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for new assets and content to address evolving needs, particularly in nurturing long-term relationships.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in community engagement, public health, health promotion, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage a partnership pipeline and track outreach performance.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage complex projects, and lead initiatives with minimal day-to-day managerial oversight.
- A deep understanding of communication strategies and proven expertise in engaging specific demographics, cultures, and ethnicities.
- Experience navigating public and community health and school-based systems to build programs and gain adoption within the community.
- Excited to be recognized as a respected advocate for child mental well-being within the community.
- Experience in cold outreach, relationship building, and developing high-touch nurture campaigns.
- Proficiency in utilizing online platforms and research methods to source contacts and gather relevant information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to track and report on performance metrics and use data to inform decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with public speaking and event participation.
- Proactive growth mindset and high level of agility, with a proven ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment and embrace feedback.
- A deep understanding of pediatric mental health, early childhood development, public or community health, and related services is a plus.
- Must be based in California and have reliable transportation.
- This role often requires evening and weekend hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, able to stand extended periods (4–6 hours), and attend outdoors in-person events and conferences in various weather conditions.
