Community Engagement Associate

About The Role
We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and people-focused Community Engagement Associate to join our team. If you enjoy meeting new people, building connections, and being part of live events and community activities, this could be a great fit. In this role, you’ll represent our organization throughout the local community and help create positive, memorable interactions. You’ll connect with people face-to-face, share information about our programs and services, support events and outreach initiatives, and help strengthen our presence within the community. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in building experience in community relations, events, marketing, communications, or business development.
Responsibilities
- Represent the organization at community events, pop-ups, and local activations
- Connect with community members and create positive interactions
- Answer questions and provide information about programs, services, and initiatives
- Build relationships with individuals and local organizations
- Assist with the coordination and execution of community events and outreach activities
- Help increase awareness and participation in local initiatives
- Gather feedback and insights from community members
- Communicate community feedback and opportunities to internal teams
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and other departments on outreach efforts
- Represent the organization in a friendly, professional, and approachable way

- Interested in community engagement, events, marketing, communications, or customer relations
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, retail, customer service, outreach, or other people-facing roles is a plus, but not required
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on event schedules
