Community Employment Specialist

What to expect

This is a direct care opportunity to support clients in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment in their communities. Services include engagement, assessment, job search, job development, treatment team collaboration, and long-term job support.

Flat Pay Rate

The position has a flat pay rate of $21.37/hr.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in the human services field
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
• Skills and knowledge in performing supported employment activities including identifying and negotiating potential jobs, getting clients integrated into jobs, providing job coaching assistance, and client advocacy with employers and clients
• A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle

Pay

The position has a flat pay rate of $21.37/hr.

Schedule

Regular hours Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Occasional hours outside of the regular schedule, including weekends, may be needed depending on the needs of the program and individuals served.
