About the role
The Community Education Theater Manager oversees all aspects of community theater programs, including but not limited to, scheduling performances, managing actors and staff, and coordinating with local schools and organizations.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage theater performances and events
- Oversee actor and staff training sessions
- Collaborate with local schools and organizations to promote community engagement
- Manage budgets and resources for theater programs
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in theater, education, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in theater management or education
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with budgeting and resource management
- Knowledge of local educational standards and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
