Community Development Specialist

Responsibilities

The Community Development Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise to communities in applications, administration of grant and loan programs, planning and special projects.

• providing information and education programs on current challenges facing local government
• using ARCGIS, HAZUS, and/or other software to create GIS and cartographic products for member governments or planning projects
• assisting in the application preparation and administration of grants, loan programs, planning documents, research projects and other programs
