Community Construction Manager

About the role

K. Hovnanian is celebrating over 65 years of quality and leadership in the home building and community development industry. You will play a large role in making sure everything is done right, organizing, budgeting, and monitoring all phases of building your customers' new homes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractor activities
• Monitor all costs and implement cost controls
• Walk homes in various stages of construction to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are exceeded

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience managing the entire construction process
• Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods
• Supervisory skills necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Maintain a valid driver’s license

Skills

• Strong organizational and supervisory skills
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules
• Knowledge of building codes and construction processes
