Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Community Clinic Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow physician instructions to ensure accurate medication therapy for patients.
  • Oversee and verify prescription order entry, packaging, and dispensing processes.
  • Provide drug utilization reviews and medication-related information to healthcare professionals, patients, and the public.
  • Monitor patient medication therapy for safety, effectiveness, and adherence.
  • Assist in the supervision, training, and evaluation of pharmacy technicians.
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services to support patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant pharmacy records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant pharmacy experience
  • Registered Pharmacist in North Carolina (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
