Community Care Physical Therapist Assistant, Home Health (Full Time)

About the role

Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist (PT) in implementing the plan of care and treatment programs to restore a patient’s/resident’s optimal function and mobility. Assists in providing education related to the treatment program, disease process, and prevention of further injuries to the patient/resident/family/caregiver and other members of the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Physical Therapist in implementing the plan of care and treatment programs to restore a patient’s/resident’s optimal function and mobility.
• Provides education related to the treatment program, disease process, and prevention of further injuries to the patient/resident/family/caregiver and other members of the health care team.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and handles constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, manages stressful situations, and handles conflict.
• Performs all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• AA degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current License for PTA from Montana.
• Temporary licensure as governed by the State Practice Act.
• Current BLS certification.
