Responsibilities
- Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
- Deliver a compelling campaign message, collect complete survey answers from voters, and persuade voters to sign a clean energy pledge
- Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
- Follow the campaign’s safety protocols
Requirements
- Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy
- Strong communication skills; enjoy working with other people and being willing to speak with everyone
- Hard worker who can stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
- Open to new challenges and interested in building campaign skills
- Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
- Prior canvassing experience is strongly preferred, but not required
Qualifications
- Full-time & Part-time positions available
- Starts at $22/hour, Team Lead positions start at $23/hour
- Shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals offered
- Positions run through July 2 with possibilities for advancement afterward
- Shifts run from 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday with the possibility to work part-time or full-time
