Community Based Outreach (PCT) (BHT)
Job Summary
The Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Community Based Outreach Team Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for responding to calls dispatched by the CBI Access to Care Line and for transports from CBI facilities. The BHT is responsible for the in-field assessment of each referral to determine the appropriateness of care, consulting with the CBI Triage RN when necessary due to the severity of the level of risk in ASAM Dimensions 1, 2, and 3. The BHT ensures all documentation of Crisis Intervention Notes, Trip Tickets, and Mobile Crisis Intervention Field Forms are completed before the end of their shift.
Skills/Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience preferred.
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101 and Clinical Policies and Procedures.
- Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred.
- Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing).
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
