Community Associate

  • Build a welcoming and collaborative community environment through events and building relationships.
  • Ensure the building is fully operational and processes are efficient.
  • Drive growth and promotion of WeWork-provided service offerings.
  • Support the Community Management team.

Duties

  • Manage the front desk during set business hours.
  • Greet members and guests warmly and ensure proper guest check-ins.
  • Build relationships with members and guests to foster a sense of community.
  • Anticipate and address member and guest needs proactively.
  • Keep the front desk clean and organized.
  • Notify members of food deliveries and couriers.
  • Answer questions from members and guests regarding the building.
  • Engage with the WeWork member network.
  • Write and send broadcasts for building updates.

Events and Membership Engagement

  • Provide feedback on programming types and evaluate events based on attendance, satisfaction, and impact.
  • Celebrate members’ successes and milestones with gifts and notes.
  • Distribute necessary information for events, including creating and posting event posters.
  • Ensure building-specific operational requirements are met for events.
  • Input notes into Kube or equivalent system about members.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to connect members with each other.
  • Know and recommend local resources such as restaurants, food delivery services, and team outing venues.
  • Be active on the WeWork member network.

Building Operations and Management

  • Receive, process, sort, and organize all mail.
  • Locate and issue posts via the regional system to members upon request.
  • Keep the mailroom organized and clean.
  • Investigate, escalate, and resolve 'lost' packages.
  • Track, audit, and organize keys collected and distributed.
  • Manage keycard stock and request new inventory as needed.
  • Collect keys and key cards upon move-out.
  • Review and understand how to use each piece of emergency equipment.
  • Provide support for an automated coffee machine for guests and members.

About You

  • College graduate with a four-year degree preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ years of hospitality experience, customer service, or sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and compassion.
  • Passion for entrepreneurial communities and understanding of WeWork’s mission and values.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly
Incentive Compensation: Eligible for an incentive plan specific to your role.
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits including 20 days of PTO, approximately 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; life and AD&D insurance.
