Community Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide support to reach personal and educational goals to residents
• Lease and market apartments
• Work with management to create and maintain a resident community that is conducive to living-learning by maintaining student success programming
• Plan and execute events within budget
• Aid in move-in and move-out preparations through administrative, operational, and maintenance tasks
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and respond to lock-outs after hours (if required)
• Maintain preventative maintenance as directed by the management team
• Enter and maintain all required documentation within property management software and report any issues to the Resident Director or Community Manager
• Maintain a positive peer mentor relationship with residents and foster a community environment
• Document community programs and assist with social media efforts
• Collaborate with the Resident Director to maintain accurate records for all residents' student status

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong leadership skills and social skills to provide an inclusive environment for students
• Knowledge of University functions and community activity
• Minimum of one year enrolled in a University or College Program
• Required Skills and Abilities:
