Communications Specialist- Active Secret Clearance

S2Technologies is seeking a Communications Specialist to serve as the Communications Focal Point, analyzing network characteristics and recommending improvements to network components.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network characteristics (e.g., traffic, connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput) and recommend procurement, removals, and modifications to network components.
• Design and optimize network topologies and site configurations.
• Plan installations, transitions, and cut-overs of network components and capabilities.
• Coordinate requirements with users and suppliers.
• Consolidate all help and service desks found in a typical communications squadron, including maintenance and job control, telephone administration, network help desk, and personal wireless communications systems help desk.
• Centralize and process data to identify issues and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions, including authorized service interruptions.
• Support the unit's operational mission, including voice and data network systems (routers, switches, servers, key systems, desktop systems), radio systems, video, and all other communications equipment while maintaining performance indicator visibility in one central location.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• IAT Level II Certification.
• Secret Security Clearance (required).

Pay

$55,000 - $67,000 per year
