Communications Outreach Specialist
Job Summary
The Communications Outreach Specialist supports the development of communications materials that build brand and product awareness through targeted media campaigns. This role also involves executing outreach activities to reach key audiences and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of communications materials to build brand and product awareness.
- Support the planning and execution of targeted media campaigns.
- Cookout outreach activities to reach key audiences and stakeholders.
- Track and report on outreach campaign activities and results.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging.
Requirements
- 2 years of demonstrated experience assisting in the development of communications materials to build brand and product awareness through targeted media campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Communications, or a related field.
- Experience supporting targeted media and outreach campaigns.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance and/or DHS suitability determination.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
- Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Benefits
Remote work is anticipated. However, all candidates should be local to the Washington, DC metro area as on-site work may be required.
