About the role
Receives and transmits emergency and urgent information via radio, computer, and telephone to Protective Services personnel.
Location: 611 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43205, United States.
Responsibilities
- Documents designated communications and events in the incident reporting system.
- Answers and prioritizes all emergent and non-emergent calls.
- Monitors CCTV cameras and access control systems.
- Dispatches appropriate parties to incidents that occur on or surrounding campus.
- Notifies Protective Services officers of incoming helicopters and EMS.
- Acts as a liaison by providing information regarding a visitor’s visitation at NCH or an employee’s day‑to‑day activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution and/or equivalent law enforcement/military experience and training (preferred).
