About the role
The Communications Manager will lead all aspects of Woven Capital's external communications strategy, including investor relations, media outreach, and public relations efforts. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, this role will work closely with the investment team to ensure that messaging is aligned with the fund’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations programs to maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and other stakeholders.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, media interviews, and speaking engagements.
- Coordinate public relations activities, such as writing press releases, managing social media, and responding to inquiries from the media.
- Support the fundraising process by providing strategic communications support and materials.
- Collaborate with the investment team to develop and implement marketing and branding initiatives that align with the fund’s mission and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successful investor relations and media relations management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including institutional investors, journalists, and the general public.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
