Communications Manager - Business Strategist

About the role

The Enterprise Communications team at Target builds confidence, pride, and advocacy for the company, connecting and counseling companywide to move its $100-billion business forward. This role requires a Communications Manager, Business Strategist who can develop integrated internal and external communications plans, partner with agencies, engage stakeholders, and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop integrated internal and external communications plans in support of the company’s key priorities, business areas, and initiatives.
• Partner with agencies to bring outside counsel and expertise to bear on Communications plans and execution.
• Engage directly with key internal and external stakeholders, including agencies to deliver on communication plans.
• Support efforts to activate Communications partners in line with Communications workflow.
• Support timing and action and quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
• Understand Communication measurement techniques, tracking, and reporting against KPIs.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by demonstrating behaviors consistent with Target’s values of Inclusivity, Connection, and Drive.
• Contribute to a reliable, sustainable operating cadence across your team and contribute to Communications and pyramid-wide operating routines.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.

• Strategic thinking and creativity.
• Excellent execution and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

$73,000.00 - $132,000.00
