About the role

The Communications Manager is a versatile, hands-on role split across two critical functions: internal/recruitment communications and corporate social media. You'll be the person who ensures d-Matrix employees feel informed, aligned, and connected to the company's mission while also building the company's social media presence across LinkedIn, X, and other channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategy to keep employees aligned on company direction, milestones, and priorities
  • Write and manage regular internal communications: office updates, all-hands updates, milestone announcements, and company newsletters
  • Ensure employees hear company news from leadership before they read about it in the press
  • Support employer branding and recruitment communications in partnership with HR — including careers page content, hiring narratives, and onboarding materials
  • Support change management communications for organizational transitions, leadership hires, acquisitions, and policy updates
  • Own day-to-day management and content execution across d-Matrix's corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with corporate communications cadence, product milestones, events, and press coverage
  • Draft social media posts for the corporate handles, including news amplification, thought leadership content, event coverage, and partner announcements
  • Support the VP and PR Senior Manager with social media amplification of press coverage, executive posts, and campaign content
  • Monitor social media engagement, track metrics, and report on performance
  • Stay current on platform trends, AI industry conversations, and competitor social activity
  • Provide operational support for the communications function: opening and tracking POs, managing vendor invoices, maintaining team files and tools
  • Maintain and organize shared resources including messaging documents and content libraries
  • Support event logistics and coordination as needed, in partnership with the VP and agency partners
  • Help maintain the corporate website content in coordination with marketing colleagues

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, social media, or content marketing – ideally in technology, B2B, or a startup environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats: social posts, internal emails, newsletters, and short-form content
  • Experience managing corporate social media channels and understanding of platform best practices (LinkedIn and X in particular)
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, i.e. you can manage multiple workstreams, track deadlines, and keep the team's operations running smoothly
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and adaptability is valued
  • A genuine interest in AI, technology, and the semiconductor industry – you don’t need to be a technical expert, but you should be curious and eager to learn
  • Proficiency with tools like Slack, SharePoint, social media management platforms, and basic project management tools
  • A team-first mindset – you're happy to roll up your sleeves on operational tasks and understand that great communications teams run on both strategy and execution
