Communications Lead

About the role

Officer Catalyst is the voice for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Stockton-on-Tees. They are seeking a Communications Lead to manage Catalyst’s campaign work across online, media, events, and email communications, owning the brand and digital channels, leading campaigns, delivering the weekly e‑bulletin, handling media and internal communications, and supporting VCSE organisations across the borough to find their voice.

Responsibilities

• Own the brand and digital channels
• Lead campaigns that cut through the noise (online, media, events, inboxes)
• Deliver the weekly e‑bulletin
• Serve as the voice behind media relations and internal communications
• Act as a trusted pair of hands for VCSE organisations across the borough, helping smaller groups find their own voice with clarity and confidence

• Capacity to see stakeholder lists as audiences to be understood rather than databases to be managed
