Communications Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support a dynamic team. This internship provides valuable exposure to strategic communications in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a meaningful impact on patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Aid in drafting and editing content for internal newsletters, staff communications, and leadership messages.
• Support internal communications content development, messaging, and channel support.
• Contribute to external communications efforts, including blog posts, media materials, and website updates.
• Create and support social media planning, content creation, and performance tracking across platforms.
• Coordinate campaigns, events, and awareness initiatives.
• Conduct research and compile insights to support communications strategies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Interest in healthcare, storytelling, and mission-driven work.
