Communications Generalist

About the role

This remote role will help shape how the organization communicates across product launches, market moments, and sensitive situations. The position will partner closely with leadership, Legal, and Policy to deliver clear, timely messaging that supports the brand and builds trust with external audiences. You will also contribute to executive communications and media engagement efforts that simplify complex topics for broad audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop proactive communications plans for product launches and announcements
• Drive media relations by responding to inquiries and pitching stories to crypto and mainstream journalists
• Create messaging frameworks, blog posts, and social media copy aligned with brand voice
• Prepare spokespeople for media engagements, ensuring key messages and strategic guidance are communicated effectively
• Lead rapid-response communication strategies during crises by collaborating with Legal, Policy, and leadership

Qualifications

• 7+ years of communications experience in PR or in-house communications, with at least 2 years in crypto or fintech
• Established relationships with crypto media and a track record of successful media placements
• Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio that simplifies complex topics for general audiences
• Experience supporting executive communications, including preparation and briefing for media appearances
• Familiarity with generative AI for enhancing communications efficiency and quality

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,080 – $164,800 annually
