Communications Agent Level 1

About the role

Provides exceptional service to customers. Conducts research and analysis of monitored locations, processes alarm calls, dispatches first responders, updates databases, and communicates with emergency personnel.

These positions will be located in Memphis, Tennessee. Relocation assistance is not available for these roles.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise and excellent service to both internal and external customers.
• Conducts research and analysis of burglary and fire alarm monitored locations and processes incoming alarm calls and signals while subsequently dispatching first responders and notifying stakeholders.
• Updates internal computer databases to maintain accuracy and processes inquiries from internal customers.
• Effectively communicates with local police, fire, and EMS personnel.
• Handles routine and emergency calls from within company property, the surrounding area, and coordinates the appropriate response.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• One year experience in either customer service, burglar/fire alarm monitoring, computer processing, emergency dispatch, customer account maintenance, or related field.
• Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work multiple and varying shifts based on business needs.
• Excellent human relations, organizational, and communications skills.
• Must complete required training program.

Pay

Minimum: $21.14/hr - Maximum: $29.59/hr
