Work week: 0.67 FTE at White Bear Lake Area High School

About the role

Applicants with the ability to acquire a Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 Technology Education Construction Careers license should consider applying for the position. Applicants should be able to teach woods and construction courses. Experience with PLTW is preferred, but not required.

A successful candidate has the opportunity to work in a new and innovative high school building while supporting a broad spectrum of students and ensuring that all students can answer "yes" to the following questions: Do I belong here? Is this meaningful? Can I do this?

Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or a specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessionals or Volunteers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Tier 1, 2, 3, or 4 Minnesota Educator License Required.
• Construction Careers CTE License preferred.
