Common Area Attendant

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment at the Club Wyndham Majestic Sun Resort in Destin, FL. The position offers a competitive salary of $16.50/hour plus benefits, including a new hire bonus of $500 after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant, consistent cleanliness by performing housekeeping tasks such as dusting, polishing, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, cleaning carpets, and re-supplying restrooms and locker rooms.
• Remove trash and maintain the interior appearance of the resort by picking up debris, emptying containers, and transporting materials to disposal and recycling areas.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Protect hotel and guest property by observing precautions and reporting any damage, theft, or found items to supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently or with others as needed.

Qualifications

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in hospitality or similar field is preferred but not required.

Pay
