About the role

The Supply Chain Team at Fluidstack is responsible for owning and executing multi-year commodity strategies for assigned direct-material categories, supporting continuous manufacturing. They work on key projects such as building 10GW of compute, qualifying and dual-sourcing across critical equipment categories, and forecasting lead times and demand.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute multi-year commodity strategies for assigned direct-material categories (metals, plastics, electronic components, sub-assemblies, MRO)
  • Maintain should-cost models to validate supplier pricing against the market
  • Run structured supplier management processes including QBRs, scorecards, dual-sourcing, and risk mitigation
  • Hit cost-reduction targets through real levers like value engineering, consolidation, and demand aggregation
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Planning, including on NPI and design-for-cost

Requirements

  • You have experience owning commodity strategy and strategic sourcing for direct materials in a manufacturing environment
  • You build should-cost models using market intelligence to validate pricing, not just accept supplier quotes
  • You manage supplier relationships effectively, conducting QBRs, scorecards, dual-sourcing, and risk mitigation
  • You consistently meet cost-reduction targets through real levers and value engineering
  • You partner with Engineering, Quality, and Planning, including on NPI and design-for-cost

Qualifications

  • You have experience in direct-material categories for hardware or electronics
  • You hold a CPSM, CSCP, or CPP certification
  • You have experience in global supply markets
  • You have experience in manufacturing S&OP

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options. We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
