About the role

This is a hybrid role based in Greenlawn, NY or Hudson, NH; remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for Mechanical parts, PWBs, and Cable assemblies to optimize cost and ensure supply continuity.
  • Define, communicate, and lead clear long-term strategies aligned with company growth goals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a technical team of specialists, aligning individual goals with broader supply chain targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage key suppliers and contract manufacturers, hosting regular business reviews.
  • Lead high-value contract negotiations, negotiate cost reductions, contract terms, and lead time reductions, while mentoring procurement analysts in negotiation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues that may arise.
  • Oversee daily execution of procurement analysts, streamline workflows, and ensure no overdue purchase orders or actions.
  • Analyze, communicate, and drive actions based on team metrics.
  • Analyze, compile, and report data to senior-level leadership.

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to provide direction, delegate, lead, and pivot quickly to adapt to a high-pace environment.
  • Experience in sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, supplier management, and managing customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and peers.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and AIERP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain.
  • CSCP or CPIM certification.
  • MBA, PMP, or JD.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $129,542 – $220,222. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
