Commissions Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Commissions Analyst to manage commission statements, calculate override and bonus payments, reconcile commission revenue with the General Ledger, and support agents and business partners with commission-related questions.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve commission statements from carrier websites and prepare commission files.
• Calculate commission overrides and bonus payments using rate schedules and compensation grids.
• Reconcile carrier statements and commission revenue to the General Ledger.
• Investigate discrepancies, reporting errors, and payment issues with Accounting.
• Manage shared commission inboxes and respond to agent, wholesaler, and business partner inquiries.
• Ensure commission data is accurate, complete, and processed on time.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• One or more years of relevant professional experience (preferred)
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or annuities (preferred)
• Associate degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred)
