Commissioning Specialist Cx

About the role

As a Commissioning Specialist (Mechanical), you will be responsible for checklists, observations, meeting attendance, witnessing tests and procedures, customer satisfaction and other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Understanding and following communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status
• Understanding project schedules, milestones, critical path, ability to identify future looking planning needs and constraints
• Collaborate with technicians, team leads, and other PMs to perform project Cx tasks, meet schedule requirements, communication project progress, and review of plans / specifications and submittals
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives by building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions as directed
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with internal and external customers

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Consistent dependability and availability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction field and office environment
• Have the aptitude to learn new systems
• General Mechanical Systems Knowledge
• Knowledge of commissioning processes, documentation and implementation

Skills

• Interpret controls one line drawings for integration with equipment is a plus
• 1-5 years' experience in the field
• Experience working with building owners is preferred
