Commissioning Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Update and install software and settings onto control equipment and switches.
• Test for communication and network connectivity.
• Clear faults/alarms, and diagnose with vendors on troubleshooting steps.
• Use software User Interface to charge and discharge batteries.
• Understand and use the LOTO procedures provided.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic Computer skills.
• Knows how to ping a device and use command prompt.
• Certified in electrical NFPA 70E.
• Has OSHA10 certification.
• Basic understanding of networking and Modbus/dnp3 troubleshooting.
• Familiarity using Procore for documentation and tracking status.

Education and Experience

• Minimum educational qualification: Associate degree.
• Experience having worked on battery projects or solar projects.

Travel

Work will be 10 hour days 5-6 days a week with a 2 weeks on, and 1 week off rotation cycle.
