About the Role
Support commissioning and testing oversight of 34.5 kV feeders in a greenfield substation project in Saline, Michigan. Coordinate operation and testing of 34.5 kV breakers connected to 240 MVA 345 kV-to-34.5 kV transformers. Manage high-side breakers and disconnect switches, as well as low-side capacitor banks. Oversee communications, SCADA, and relay systems for optimal performance and safety. Assist in project planning, testing, and commissioning activities from off-site preparation through on-site execution.
Responsibilities
- Support commissioning and testing oversight of 34.5 kV feeders in a greenfield substation project.

Requirements
- Relevant experience in commissioning and testing electrical substations or similar projects.
- Knowledge of 34.5 kV power systems, transformers, breakers, and associated controls.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to begin off-site preparation in October 2026 and work on-site from November 2026 through April 2027.
