About the role
Phase To Phase, LLC is seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers and/or Senior Level Protection & Controls Technicians to support transmission and distribution substation projects in multiple locations. This is a field-based position requiring daily work in active substation environments with equipment ranging from 4 kV through 500 kV.
Responsibilities
- Power transformer replacements (30–100 MVA)
- Feeder protection replacements and upgrades
- Recloser replacement and commissioning projects
- Protection and control upgrades within existing substations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- 6+ years of P&C / substation commissioning experience
- Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution protection schemes
- Greenfield and brownfield substation experience
- Strong field troubleshooting and leadership capabilities
Skills
- Hands-on experience with SEL and/or GE protective relays
- Experience with Doble 6150
- Working knowledge of ENOSERV RTS and Doble Protection Suite with the ability to troubleshoot testing issues
