Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute commissioning activities, including development of test scripts, functional testing, and verification of system performance.
  • Conduct pre-functional and functional testing of low-voltage systems, including networks, AV, security, and other building technology systems.
  • Document commissioning findings, maintain issues logs, and track resolution of deficiencies.
  • Participate in site observations, job walks, and construction meetings.
  • Assist in the development of commissioning plans, schedules, and closeout documentation.
  • Contribute to commissioning reports and deliverables under the guidance of the Commissioning Lead or Project Manager.
  • Support coordination with contractors, design teams, and facility owners during testing and verification activities.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and translate technical observations into clear communications.
  • Assist with proposal development, fee estimating, and participation in bid walks as opportunities arise.
  • Attend industry events, site visits, and client meetings to support business development and build professional relationships.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of commissioning, consulting, construction administration, integration, or technology field experience.
  • Experience with low-voltage systems, including networks, AV, security, and building technology systems preferred.
  • Airline/transportation industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Ambitious mindset with interest in business development and leadership opportunities.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and adapt to changing project demands.

Education & Certifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (preferred).
  • Certifications: CxA, EIT, or related certifications (preferred but not required).

Salary is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's education, qualifications, and relevant experience.
