Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary

BR+A Consulting Engineers is seeking a Commissioning Engineer/Project Manager in our St. Louis, MO office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commissioning experience and demonstrate strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Prospecting for commissioning opportunities and new pursuits.
• Estimating Fees: Issuing proposals, closing business, and executing projects.
• Filling Positions: Assisting in the recruitment of necessary personnel.
• Document Management: Developing, maintaining, and publishing commissioning documents on commissioning software platforms and project documentation systems like Procore and Building Connected.
• Resource Management: Managing resources to successfully execute both new and existing business.
• Work Backlog: Completing the work backlog while exceeding client expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience.
• Previously demonstrated commissioning project management experience, including technical, financial, and project development aspects.
• Leadership skills to counsel clients and project teams through the commissioning process.
• Experience working with clients and projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Technology, Transportation, and Critical Environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
