About the Role
Responsible for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) set up and maintenance, optimization, reporting, testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, system security, and year-end support.
Responsibilities
- Support system integrations to ensure proper controls, while recommending and establishing new controls as needed.
- Act as the subject matter expert for UKG Pro HRIS system for the region, ensuring configurations meet both global and regional requirements.
- Provide support on payroll configuration issues, general ledger update assistance, and system updates based on state/federal mandates.
- Interpret business requirements into specifications for HRIS applications and interfaces.
- Design and maintain codes and tables, prepare reports for Human Resources systems and applications, investigate and analyze systems to resolve any complex and large-scale issues.
- Execute internal processes, develop and perform audits to ensure integrity of all systems.
- Collaborate with functional users to develop all business processes for various human resources systems and provide support to all associated activities.
- Design and run complex queries, resolve queries, and ensure accuracy; prepare business documents and provide upgrades.
- Execute and/or monitor all scheduled import/export interfaces and files to third-party vendors.
- Test and implement file feeds and interfaces for any add-on technology to our HRIS as needed.
- Audit and review changes within HRIS to ensure proper controls and separation of duties, and assist in establishing new controls as needed.
- Aid in coordinating system and security administration for multiple HRIS/Payroll related systems as needed.
- Develop and conduct a robust training program for new users, provide end-user support and assistance to the respective HRIS module or system you support.
- Work with external vendors and other service providers to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely exchange of information.
- Ensure the HRIS system(s) adhere to regional regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Perform additional duties, work on special projects, and collaborate with HRIS team as needed and assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible HRIS experience directly related to data integrity, auditing, process improvement, interface development and maintenance, upgrade testing and maintenance, report development, and supporting key HR program functions.
- Demonstrated expertise in HRIS, payroll, and business processes with ability to take ownership of overall HRIS and process.
- General overall knowledge and experience within Human Resources with demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to solve business problems in an effective manner.
- Strong organizational skills, project management experience, time management skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain confidential information, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of UKG Pro and Payroll is required.
- Knowledge of UKG Workforce Management Dimensions (Kronos) is preferred but not required.
- Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Knowledge of UDES, APIs, and integrations between HRIS and other business systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of general HR and payroll practices.
- Ability to interact and communicate with team members across all corporate functions and operational units of the organization.
- Attention to detail and ability to provide fast turnaround when needed.
- Ability to manage projects effectively and prioritize workload based on business needs and deadlines.
