About the Opportunity:The Commission Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely processing of sales commissions and contributes to the evolution of the commission program. This role combines detailed commission calculation and reconciliation with analytical tasks that influence future incentive plan design. The position works cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and sales leadership to maintain and improve commission processes. 3. Responsibilities:• Calculate and reconcile monthly commissions, ensuring on-time and accurate payments across incentive plans.• Reconcile commission expenses with sales and finance records and handle payee inquiries.• Administer commission plans, updating compensation data as plans, territories, or teams change.• Maintain compliance controls and support audits related to sales commissions.• Lead transition to a new commission platform, including data validation and testing.• Develop reports and dashboards to provide leadership with commission performance visibility.• Analyze plan performance, build what-if scenarios, and assist in designing next year’s commission plans.• Create communication materials and provide training to sales teams on commission plan changes. 4. Requirements:• Experience with compensation or commission tools such as Xactly, Oracle Incentive Compensation, or Varicent.• Minimum of 5 years in sales commission or sales compensation roles.• Proven ability to analyze results and translate insights into plan recommendations.• Expert-level Excel skills, including building and auditing complex models.• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.• Ability to work cross-functionally and present to senior stakeholders.• Capable of working independently and managing multiple deadlines. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The estimated base salary range for this role is $82,000 to $94,000, varying based on market, location, and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process.
