Commissary Prep Cook - Wicker Park (PM)
About the role
The Commissary Prep Team Member at Call Your Mother's Wicker Park location is responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging food items while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. This position requires a positive attitude, a commitment to the company's core values, and the ability to work effectively with others.
Responsibilities
- Receive vendor deliveries and put away/organize as needed
- Prepare items following CYM SOP’s high standards
- Assemble and package fresh food products according to health and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with commissary and kitchen staff
- Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance needed to the MOD
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Manager on Duty
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Able to work holidays and weekends
- Able to squat, bend, stoop, push, and reach
- Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate
- Able to have flexibility in schedule
- Able to get to and from all shops via transportation of choice in a timely manner

Starting wage: $17.05/hour, plus tips for all positions. With tips, your pay is likely to range from $21-23/hour.
