Commerical Pest Control Technician- Pesto X (Corpus Christi, TX)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations and educate customers on pest prevention methods.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers.
• Maintain and stock pest control equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Operate a company provided service vehicle safely and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Able to work in tight, confined spaces and around various conditions including mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, and scaffolding.
• Must be able to work both inside and outside in varying climates and weather conditions.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) like an OSHA-compliant respirator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successfully meet pre-employment background screen.
• Possess a state valid driver’s license and undergo motor vehicle driving record check (Company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).

Skills

• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Construction/Landscaping/HVAC and Installation experience encouraged to apply.
