Commerical Lines Underwriter
What You’ll Do
- Meeting growth, profit, new business and loss objectives for Commercial Lines business.
- Line underwriting: Knowledge of commercial underwriting guides is necessary to provide technical support (e.g., selection of applicants, classification and determination of proper coverage, determination of appropriate rate or premium, assuring that Company policies and standards are being adhered to).
- Proper underwriting documentation to support risk selection, coverage and pricing recommendations or decisions.
- Maintaining meeting producer and policyholder service standards.
What We Are Looking For
- College degree or comparable work experience.
- 3-5 years commercial lines experience.
- Proficient interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
