About the role

The Commercialization Associate Project Manager supports a cross functional team through a defined commercialization process. They effectively work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring all projects are executed within the scope of work. Responsibilities include timeline development and milestone management, as well as effective communication of project status to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supports a cross functional team through the defined commercialization process to deliver sustainable product launches, allowing Wells to achieve financial metrics.
  • Manages projects to budget, ensuring time and resources are aligned to budget and all associated external costs are managed effectively.
  • Works in a fast-paced environment with direct interface with Wells’ cross-functional subject matter experts, maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Conveys project goals and objectives clearly and compellingly, effectively listening and clarifying information as needed.
  • Develops project scope of work, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility of the project.
  • Facilitates project team meetings to help the team execute the process and remove roadblocks, providing clear team communication and expectations including background, deliverables, and key milestones.
  • Keeps projects moving toward completion by escalating decision points, proactively flagging issues, and problem-solving.
  • Performs risk management analysis to minimize project risk, develops effective communication plans, aligns on project timelines with subject matter experts, and maintains real-time accuracy.
  • Conducts analysis to provide input for decision-making, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations.
  • Aids in the commercialization of corporate initiatives to achieve the overall corporate strategy.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required, preferably in Business or Project/Product Management.
  • Two years of business experience required, or related experience.
  • Possesses strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, functional and technical skills, written and verbal communication skills, relationship management, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with others to complete work assignments, support and effectively communicate vision and purpose.
  • Ability to coordinate, influence, and support change.
  • Ability to support a cross-functional team, drive results, and build relationships.
