Responsibilities
- Provide underwriting support and counsel for real estate title insurance commitments and policies
- Utilize underwriting standards to authorize issuance of title insurance within delegated limits
- Guide personnel in real estate settlement services performance
- Establish and communicate underwriting standards in line with company procedures
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of title underwriting experience; commercial experience preferred
- Law Degree required; must be admitted to practice law in the state of employment
- Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing
- Strong understanding of real estate law is essential
- Familiarity with real estate title and settlement processes
