Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the service counter, by phone, and via email.
- Handle counter walk-ups and process in-store purchase orders (POs).
- Pull parts accurately based on customer orders and job requirements.
- Stage and prepare parts and materials for outbound shipments.
- Check in and process small parcel deliveries daily.
- Help create and maintain necessary customer, order, and job documentation.
- Cook up coordinate information between customers, sales, production, and internal teams.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain organized work areas for parts staging and documentation.
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous customer service, parts, warehouse, or counter experience is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, chassis upfitting, dump bodies, platforms, work lights, or snow and ice removal equipment is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential.
- Basic computer skills are required.
Physical Demands
- Standing, sitting, walking, and typing throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
- Ability to utilize team lifting or mechanical assistance for heavier items.
Work Environment
- The front office area is climate controlled.
- The warehouse environment experiences variations in temperature.
- The role also requires occasional work outdoors.
- Candidates must be able to work safely and effectively while anticipating and adapting to changing weather conditions.

About the Role
Monroe Truck Equipment is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our operations in a heavy-duty vehicle upfitting environment. This is a mixed role that combines customer service, parts handling, documentation, and light warehouse support.
Schedule
Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
