Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the service counter, by phone, and via email.
  • Handle counter walk-ups and process in-store purchase orders (POs).
  • Pull parts accurately based on customer orders and job requirements.
  • Stage and prepare parts and materials for outbound shipments.
  • Check in and process small parcel deliveries daily.
  • Help create and maintain necessary customer, order, and job documentation.
  • Cook up coordinate information between customers, sales, production, and internal teams.
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain organized work areas for parts staging and documentation.
  • Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous customer service, parts, warehouse, or counter experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, chassis upfitting, dump bodies, platforms, work lights, or snow and ice removal equipment is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Physical Demands

  • Standing, sitting, walking, and typing throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
  • Ability to utilize team lifting or mechanical assistance for heavier items.

Work Environment

  • The front office area is climate controlled.
  • The warehouse environment experiences variations in temperature.
  • The role also requires occasional work outdoors.
  • Candidates must be able to work safely and effectively while anticipating and adapting to changing weather conditions.

About the Role

Monroe Truck Equipment is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our operations in a heavy-duty vehicle upfitting environment. This is a mixed role that combines customer service, parts handling, documentation, and light warehouse support.

Schedule

Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
