About the role
The Domino's Class A Commercial Truck Driver safely drives a commercial company vehicle over or on established route(s) to deliver products to Domino’s Pizza store locations. The driver will unload products at each customer location, provide customer service to stores, pick up empty tray containers/carts, and deliver them back to Domino’s Supply Chain Center. Additional tasks may include yard work, shuttling tractors/trailers, and repositioning trailers to dock doors. All tasks are performed with safety as a priority, including wearing proper PPE. Drivers may operate as part of a team or solo, and some overnight stays may be required. This is a regional position, not local.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a commercial company vehicle on established routes to deliver products to Domino’s Pizza stores
- Unload products at customer locations and provide customer service to stores
- Pick up empty tray containers/carts and return them to the Supply Chain Center
- Perform yard work, shuttle tractors/trailers, and reposition trailers to dock doors as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE
- Work in a team or independently, with potential overnight stays
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience (one year preferred)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brakes
- Maintain a DOT Medical Certificate
- Meet defined MVR standards to remain qualified to drive company vehicles
- Pass a DOT physical and pre-employment background check
- Ability to work around yeast and flour
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, and 100 lbs. occasionally
- Perform heavy pushing/pulling of product
- Work in refrigerated conditions (33-38 degrees)
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.)
- Work in environments with exposure to loud machinery when necessary
Pay
- $31.30 - $33.20/hour, based on years of verifiable driving experience
- Sleeper Berth Pay: 50% of hourly rate
- Call-in Pay: $150 - $250 per occurrence
- Safety Bonus: $2,000 annually
- Company Bonus: 2% of annualized hourly rate
Schedule
Dispatch times range from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
