Commercial Truck Driver

About the role

This position involves operating company equipment to transport products safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards such as FMCSA requirements. Responsibilities include loading and unloading dry and temperature-controlled goods, managing fuel efficiency, and understanding load paperwork and product descriptions. The role requires meeting company goals related to MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed. Based in University Park.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and comply with transportation regulations
• Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods
• Manage fuel efficiency and operational goals (MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, speed)
• Read and understand load documents and product descriptions

Qualifications & Skills

• Class A CDL with a clean motor vehicle report
• Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (training provided if needed)
• Strong employment tenure
• Ability to pass a physical ability test
• Willingness to be away from home for 3‑6 days
• Skill in operating equipment safely, loading/unloading goods, managing operational goals, and interpreting load paperwork
